We would like to congratulate all our learners who participated in the Midmar Mile over the weekend. A special mention to two of our grade 12 learners, Karl Kohlmeyer and Kirsten Verschuuren who both completed their second 8 miler event.
They would like to thank the Vryheid community, as well as, all friends and families for their generous and loyal support. This enabled them to raise R10 000 for their respective charities. Well done, Kirsten and Karl.
The school also hosted its annual inter-high school relay event on Wednesday, 8 February. We would like to thank and congratulate Mr Van den Heever and all those who assisted him with organizing this event. Vryheid took gold in the following age groups:
