Standing Firm in Faith: ACTS Easter Performance
25 March 2026
“Therefore, put on the full armour of God so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground…” (Ephesians 6:13). This powerful message formed the foundation of the VHS ACTS Easter performance presented to learners on 25 March.
Our enthusiastic dancers, actors, and singers took to the stage with confidence, creatively portraying the different pieces of the Armour of God: the Sword of the Spirit, Breastplate of Righteousness, Feet fitted with the Gospel of Peace, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, and the Belt of Truth. The performance served as a meaningful reminder to all believers to call on the Lord during times of difficulty.
A standout moment was the unique shadow puppet production, which traced the life of David—from shepherd in the fields to king on the throne. The dramatic depiction of David defeating Goliath captivated the audience and reinforced the message that through Christ, we are strengthened to overcome any challenge.
The ACTS dancers delivered energetic performances to 10 000 Armies and No Fear, while also engaging the crowd through trending TikTok songs by Forrest Frank.
Adding to the inspiration, talented singer Luthando and her Dream Team performed an original song encouraging learners to continue praising God through life’s ups and downs.
The ACTS team looks forward to sharing this uplifting Easter performance with neighbouring primary schools, Jubileum Old Age Home, and the AOG Church early in Term 2.
Gratitude to Sponsors
A special thank you goes to Meatmasters for their continued and valued support, particularly for providing t-shirts for all ACTS participants.
